Acts 1:11

Acts 1:11…“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” God’s plan of salvation includes a restoration of not only His people, but also His creation. When Jesus returns, everything on this earth will be returned to its original state, including human beings. Prior to the fall, we (Adam and Eve) were able to perfectly reciprocate God’s perfect love toward us. In eternity future, God’s people will once again love Him without stain or defect, and will be with Him just like in the Garden. For now, our unbelief is covered by the perfect faith exercised by Jesus, which is counted as ours through His atoning death if we are His. We need to look forward to His return, particularly because we’ll be able to see Him, and then worship Him forever in person.
