Job 3:25…”What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.” Prior to the trials the Lord sent, Job was very fearful of potential calamity. He was afraid his children would offend God, afraid his servants would offend his neighbors; took all the care he could of his own health and his affairs with all possible precaution; yet all would not do. He had not truly trusted The Lord and the trials would serve to teach him to expect difficulty. The less it is a surprise the less it is a terror. Our Master was acquainted with grief, and we must expect to be too.
